That's awesome! ? This is exactly what I needed to hear. The improved ride quality is a game-changer for me, making it the sole reason for my last-minute pivot from a QM deal to Gen 2.
I'm leaning towards the Tri-Motor Ascend with this exact color and Slate Sky interior, though I'm still...
All good things, thank you! Love the plaid and attention to detail. It appears someone drop-kicked the sub-frunk. ?
Can't wait to test drive and then own this beast! Sky Slate though ftw
The Quad-Motor Ascend would be overkill.
Thanks for these amazing photos and updates! It's as if I'm actually there. All your points support our decision to pivot last minute for the Tri-Motor Ascend. Keep up the good work! ?
True. If I drive a truck, I would opt to use a frunk over putting stuff in the giant bed in the back unless it's necessary. I do love how the frunk is automated though. Huge win over the TMX.
Speaking of which, we have a 2023 TMX and agree Tesla blows the audio system out of the water, hands down.
My microwave is 1.3 cu ft, and the difference here is only 1.2 cu ft (from 11.1 cu ft to 9.9 cu ft)
I’ll gladly give up the space smaller than my small microwave any day for space for a heat pump and reduced cabin noise.
Let’s be real, at least for me, I rarely use the frunk of my Tesla Model...
Straight from Rivian Story and some internet sleuthing, someone got hold of the spec sheet data comparing the old versus the Premium Upgrade. Unfortunately, I can't find the link anymore.
'New" is opposite of old or previous, right?

Agree, show me the real-world end-users' results—can't wait! I believe folks shopping from the shop should be getting theirs by the end of the month.
As you know, we're transitioning from Gen 1 to Gen 2, so I've been avidly consuming all the articles and videos for our research.
I must say, this recent YouTube video summarizes everything with lots of information packed into just ~12 minutes.
If you have to watch or share just one video to...
Oh la la, I guess my sound standards and expectations are a lot lower then! If Sonos isn't considered quality, then I'm happy with whatever the Rivian sound system offers. ?
Of course, it's always darkest before dawn—same goes for Rivian.
Hey, even Tesla has faced bankruptcy scares twice in...
Ahh, but we don't know yet, and this is the wrong way to look at wattage as the surrogate! For sound, less is often more unless you are trying to host a concert inside your Rivian. For example, I love my Sonos Arc and it has a maximum output power of 110 watts. I'd take 2x Arc inside my car any day!
You got me too! My dual $6K reservation for both Tri and Quad motor is eagerly waiting to see if we can get a 3-row SUV for our growing family by early next year.
I must admit, the Storm Blue and darker Rivian Blue themes make this vehicle stand out among anything Rivian has ever released...
