Rivian almost has Apple Music running acceptably. One thing that would make it acceptable would be to allow it to cache music on the SD card (or in system) so I donāt lose music when I lose the connection to ATT. Iāll admit that ATT is pretty decent in the mountains but itās still not enough...
That price, for that range, is a non-starter. Iād pay $60-70K for just over 300 miles of range but thatās pretty much it.
Beyond that, the Buzz is damn good lookinā. Photos really donāt do it justice. Maybe Iāll be able to consider one after a mid cycle refresh in a few years.
If I getting a dedicated off roader for these Colorado trails, Iām getting a Ranger Raptor. Itās a HELLUVA lot cheaper, has lockers, and a suspension that was more custom tailored for the off roader.
However, I need a truck that can be a āpretty goodā off roader and does everything else...
This is the one I have:

However, I think this one will do for most people: https://safejacks.com/collections/bottle-jack-accessories/products/basic-bottle-jack-kit
Itās hard for me to accept the findings without more information on the data CR is using. For instance:
1. Whatās the sample size? This survey is only of CR subscribers, so how many subscribers are actually Rivian owners. The smaller that number the easier it is for the results to be skewed one...
Call High Country and see if theyāll do it. They arenāt limited to Jeeps. A couple years ago, I was talking with the owner and he mentioned that they had done some work on an early R1T.
At the end of the day, High Country and Johns 4x4 (in Boulder) are the best shops in the area. But Johnās...
Honestly, pictures donāt do this minivan justice. Itās much better looking that I thought it would be. My wife had originally hated the Buzz due to it not having round headlamps but when she saw it in person she kinda shrieked with excitement. Itās a damn good looking EV..
On the downside...
I just got back from three weeks in Japan. I plugged my R1T in and set it to 70%. I got home yesterday and didnāt notice any issues when driving.
Itās not that long of a period of time so just treat it normally.
The more I look at it, the less I care about it. The removable door gimmick belongs on the Wrangler. The Wrangler looks amazing with the doors off. This looks like crap with no doors. Iām not a fan of the Bronco with doors off either. Both seem like an afterthought.
I canāt figure why I would...
I was in Sapporo just a few days ago, visiting my Mother and Father in Laws. My eyes were bugging out from all the Suzuki Jimnyās running around.
Guess where I took my wife while there. ?
Iām actually in Tokyo right now. Iām vacationing here this month and visiting relatives.
I actually got really good at driving on Japanese roads, BUT I had a Warrant Officer that screwed up and drove his mid-60ās Thunderbird down a suicide bridge (one way only). I think it cost him a small...
Iām in Japan this month and checking out a shop in Omori when I found this guy. ?
A fella asked if I was going to buy it. I told him I already had three. Two of these matchbox models and a big on in the garage. He liked the pictures I showed. Nice time.
