First charge plugged into Nema 14-50 on a 50 amp breaker with included mobil charger averaged about 15 - 16 miles added per hour (21 kwh in 3 hours, 12 min). May stick with this for now.
Any thoughts on how many more miles the chargepoint flex pug ged into 14-50 would have added (if any) in...
Picked mine up Saturday (4/29). Excited. General notes/observations:
- Original reservation: January 2022 Max pack, black exterior and interior, 20 AT Black, manual tonneau
- Located in Massachusetts
- Had many store options, with many changes/subtractions/additions
- Went to the service...
Yes, I can see how some would like it. I don't and just want turn it off (I do like the audio blind spot alert). It seems like it can be done. I am either doing it incorrectly or something is not working correctly with the vehicle.
Picked up today and drove my R1T home. I'm very happy with it.
On the ride home, the lane assist moved me back into the center of the lane.
I am not a fan of this. Ipulled over went into Driver+ and slid it into the off position. Got back on the rode and it had turned back on. I tried again...
I selected an R1T from the shop on April 12th and am scheduled to take delivery on Saturday April 29th in Massachusetts. I could have picked it up as early as today April 27th. Hope you take delivery soon.
Thanks. So the 22 miles/hour you state is using the Rivain supplied plug? Or the Chargpoint Flex? I've been told 15-16 miles/hour for the Rivian plug. I'd be happy with 22.
Thanks. Pick my R1T up this WE and have two 14-50 outlets on 50 amp breakers already in garage. The best I can understand is that using the Rivian supplied 14-50 plug I would be getting apx 15-16 miles added per hour (my model 3 with the Tesla plug currently gets a surprising 30 miles added...
Thanks for the replies. Yes, up state, NY is pretty good charger wise. I used to make that trip from the city often. Now based in Ma and mainly going up the NH side where chargers are more sparse. Thanks for the Rivian app note which is reassuring moving from a Tesla which has been great.
What do you use to find chargers? Plugshare?
I am in the Northeast as well and one of my concerns is the lack of level 3 fast chargers for road trips (I keep changing my mind on selling my model 3 and buying a R1T from the shop). Are you mainly charging over night? Taking long lunches? ty.
It seems to me the differences are:
Included in Launch Edition:
dashboard badge that reads "Launch Edition"
option to choose exclusive Launch Green color
Launch Edition has equipped with our 300+ mile Large pack

Am I understanding that on a daily basis I should be charging the R1T large pack with all terrain tires to 219 (.8 times 274) and that real world range at apx 75 mph will be less than this?
"By all accounts from my accountant, we still plan to claim the credit. " can "on my 2023 taxes" be inferred? I am in the same situation. My price before taxes and fees is 77,500. I signed the binding agreement but will take possession in 2023 and according to my VIN it is a 2023 build. I...
Still going back and forth on trading my model 3, large pack, mostly because I like the super charger network for longer trips and generally really like the car.
What can I expect on a full charge in terms of apx. real world range for the Launch Edition, Quad-Motor AWD, Large battery pack, 20"...
Didn't Rivian just confirm R1S max pack in 2023?
