My charging at home went from 1.5 per hr to 2.5 miles per hour. I'm stuck using the portable 110v charger for now at home as I wait on Ameren to finish work so electrician can finish the charger install.

For those of you stuck waiting on an electrician to put in your level 2 charger...(yeah that's me) and stuck charging on a 110v outlet, the speed to charge doubled for me. I was at 1.5 miles per hr...with update I'm at 2.5+ per hour. Better and hoping the level 2 will do same thing with update.

Truck is amazing. You will love it. My guide and Lucas both said the plan is for invites to go out to owners for a tour at a later date. Just let your guide know of interest. They said I could come back then for a bigger tour. Congrats on truck on the way.

Forest Green and tons of El cap, didn’t see any LE green as I recall. The Canyon Red really is more orangish red…and the Rivian Blue so nice in person. Didn’t see the outdoor lots.

Again..I would say do it. Plus all you R1S pre-order holders, they are coming. In the factory production line you would see an R1S for maybe ever 10 RTs in line. They do not allow pics of the inside of the factory. Just below us on the catwalk was an R1S waiting to go through the water...

The cases I was told also were only for factory delivery. LA Silver is a great color but may I suggest we change it to Doc Brown Silver. ;)

I would say when you get your guide contact to let them know of your interest in a factory pickup. Really a neat experience....and probably a once in lifetime. I mean....how often are you gonna go to a factory and pick up your vehicle? Plus...I got the Pelican case. :)

The wife and I just went to Normal for factory pickup yesterday. Not one issue with process to purchase. We got to Normal for our 11am appointment and man what a day. We were treated like royalty. We got a factory tour from Lucas (awesome guy btw). We saw lines of R1Ts finishing production...

Yes, this a picture of my little (well...not so little actually) Bassett Hound, Cabo. We also have a German Shepard named Max. They stand out in the crowd as the odd couple but definaltley a bonded pair. Both are looking forward to car rides in the Rivian. :)

I live in Illinois and only an hour and a half away from Normal. I get a brief tour as well;)

yeah it went from no VIN on July 5 to VIN, then a text on Thursday the 8th done and when wanna pick up :)

I got the text it was complete before I was done with any steps. Mine is at delivery stage greyed out but delivery person sent text for me to set up a time with her to pickup at factory.

So this went fast, I was expecting delivery per email NOV/DEC of 2022 for my LA Silver R1T. July 1, new fiscal year for Illinois and the EV rebate going into effect, I looked at my email and low and behold at 2 in morning I got an email saying your R1T is ready for production. I was shocked...
