  1. Charging Level Question

I charge to 85% regularly (3-4 times a week) and 100% whenever I need more range on a particular day (2-3 times a month). After 45,000 miles, I notice no degradation.
  2. Canton MA Service Center - Inaugural week

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to not driving to Chelsea. When I have had to go (rarely) the service has been great, but the drive not so much. It's almost exactly the same distance but it will be much easier coming from the Worcester area.
  3. Just fix the software

Sorry to hear others are having software issues. After 2 1/2 years, I really haven't had any. I've done maybe 1 or 2 hard resets, 1 or 2 soft but honestly can't remember. It just hasn't been an issue for me. I'd like voice to text, but it's not a big deal.
  4. Post pics of your aftermarket wheels

I don't know if they have fixed it, but the openings for the nozzles are too small. Need an extender to pump the tires.
  5. Post pics of your aftermarket wheels

An R1T, but.. I am happy with them so far. Bought them with the Good Year tires here. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/show-us-your-wheels-any-aftermarket-powdercoated-oems-or-otherwise.16099/post-627291
  6. When it rains, your motor blows

GL. Hope they get you going again soon.
  7. 58k miles/ 34 issues!

4 trips to the service center since May 2023. Only one true issue, which was resolved in about 3-5 days if I remember correctly (unexpected turtle mode). Other trips were for tire rotations, at which they took care of minor/preventative things (e.g., replaced 12-volts before there ever was a...
  8. Would you still buy your Rivian today?

Yes! Absolutely. The truck is awesome, for the pre-price hike $ I paid. But maybe beyond what I am comfortable paying now.
  9. The worst service experience in the industry

I am sure there are service issues and I wish everyone who has had them better luck and service in the future. I have had great service (haven't needed much, my truck is great) at the Chelsea SC in MA. I am looking forward to the new centers in Canton and Hudson, NH. Unlike the OP, this is the...
  10. 5,012 mile journey with a teardrop trailer

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like an awesome trip. And great last stop at Tree House. Hope you had some room in the trailer to stock up.
  11. Any one racked up miles on the OEM Goodyear

I am at 8/32 after 13,100 miles. They were rotated at 7,500. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/goodyear-territory-at-275-60-20-factory-at-tires-saving.37522/page-37#post-831589
  12. What did you do TO / WITH your Rivian today? 🧰

Some tailgating before a terrible football game.
  13. 2026 BMW iX3 launches as R2 competitor

Agreed. I've always been a fan but not in recent years. I am sure it will be a cool car, just don't like the exterior look.
  14. Who's got the most miles?

42,500, New England, May 2023 R1T. No cool stories, just love the truck. Great for camping, skiing, biking, and the beach.
  15. Did my 1st charge to 100% last night.

I essentially do the same, but wonder what is a reasonable amount of time to leave it at 100%. Is it 30 minutes, 2 hours? I understand it is a continuum and there is no exact answer (other than as little as possible), but is there some general guideline that is recommended?
  16. Electric Cooking options

The gridle worked great. Great for onions and peppers for sausages and pancakes for a big crowd (15). Increased the temps at a reasonable pace with no problems. The meter wouldn't fit in the outlet, so I'll return it. Or at least I could not figure out how to remove the outlet cover without...
