Thanks. I may give the Chargepoint in Claremont, NH 03743 a try this winter depending how low my battery gets. It's quite a bit closer than Lebnon or Concord. If so, will report back.
Yeah, access to the Tesla chargers make a big difference compared to last year. (updating the others would be great). The fast chargers at the Mall of NH were pretty crowded.
Selfishly, I want one out by Sunapee.
Thanks for the info. These was part of my regular trips (with Sunapee added) when I lived in NYC. Lebanon was a great addition. Now hoping for a new RAN or two in mid/southen NH that I am in MA. Trips to Sunapee are still through mostly limited fast charging areas (other than Manchester mall...
Likewise, I have had great experiences with Chelsea MA SC. I've been in 3 times and left with the vehicle the same day. Their wait estimates have been mostly accurate and they were pleasant to deal with. I haven't had any major issues which I gues s may play a role, but my vehicle has been...
I am sure there are Rivians that have had issues, some pretty major (as posted on this site), but many have had little to no issues. I am in the latter camp. 32,000 miles and it is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I am not diminishing others' legit issues, just adding my experience...
Sorry, that is frustrating.
My experience with the Chelsea service center has been very positive so hopefully they get this fixed for you (though I haven't had any major issues) ASAP. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a loaner or nice rental.
Good points. Don't disagree other than I believe the tax credit can help sell more EVs (especially in the 25-45 bracket and probably a bit higher, but not for a $90k vehicle), which is a good thing in my view (not a magical cure all wand).
I would generally agree with you about cars in the R1 price range. I do think the tax credit can play a role in affordability in the $25-45k range (and obviously, more EVs in this price range are needed for this to be a reality). I also believe there is a moderate psychological impact of the...
Spoke with a couple of people in service and they confirmed that the Gen 2 size 275/60/20 AS Goodyear tire is the ideal setting but isn't available at this time for Gen 1 vehicles (think B Digs has gotten the same response) and that the 'closest' setting for now would be 275/65/20 AT (and that...
95% all-purpose. I'll switch to conserve for highway rides longer than 50ish miles or if need to maximize range for a roundway trip with few charging options.
it is what Rivian recommended and (related) it would provide more accurate range estimates. I of course could be mistaken.
My assumption is that the setting would be essentially the same as the Gen 2 T with the same tires.
I'll see what Rivian says and if I hear back will post it.
