  1. Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

Haven't installed the very latest update but left my R1T unplugged (gear guard off at home) and was gone for apx 8 days. Battery went from 243 (76.% SoC) miles to 228 (72% SoC).
  2. Thoughts @ 50,000 miles on my R1T

AT 27k and similar experience (with two tire replacement at 23k). Love it.
  3. Low speed 'Tocking' when stopping or starting

I have some of the low speed stocking - mostly at first when I get in the truck. In particular backing down my driveway. It doesn't seem to be an issue, but I am not knowledgeable about suspensions. Should I be worried? Second question(s): When I first unlock/get in the truck (before...
  4. Which magsafe charger would you get?

On Amazon, some of the photos show a wood grain finish, while others do not. Is this a choice/option?
  5. Which magsafe charger would you get?

I have had the Stowncharge and it has generally worked well charging. I am considering a different one because the sliding cover has begun to rattle just a bit (I have an unhealthy low tolerance for rattles).
  6. Metrowest Alignment/Tires

I am currently on 21s and will likely switch to 20s before the end of the year. One thing I am unsure about is where to have the installation done. One approach is to order through Rivian (seems the safest bet for non-tire expert like me), but it is pretty expensive and is limited to specific...
  7. Metrowest Alignment/Tires

I used My Tire Guys mobil service for two new tires and it went well. I have pucks but they had their own.
  8. 20" Inch Affordable high efficiency 20" wheels and 33" tires options (275/60R20)

Thank you. Not sure there are Discount Tire locations in the North East.
  9. 20" Inch Affordable high efficiency 20" wheels and 33" tires options (275/60R20)

  10. Non-standard Gear Tunnel Uses

"I drove from Atlanta to Maine last month with 3 people, suitcases etc in the truck bed" Do you not like these people?
  11. Does your golf bag fits into gear tunnel?

Yes, my clubs (In a standard Callaway cart bag) easily fit. When I have multiple bags I use a bungee cord for the bed.
  12. Camp Speaker Love-Hate Relationship

Agree with much of the above. I love almost everything about the truck except the camp speaker. I use it very infrequently but even less than I would because it is always a pain to connect (and sometimes it won't). So it's just not worth it to me (even though I'd like to use it more). It may...
  13. JFF: If you see a Rivian, you park next to the Rivian

Not sure if you are on this site, but it was a beautiful day today at Marconi Beach on the National Seashore.
  14. 2024.19.04 software update now installing! Share your impressions & reviews

Got it a couple of days ago. Like the blind spot cameras (missed them after having it o model 3). Hard to tell but the ride/suspension feels even smoother if that is possible (the ride has always been incredible to me). I like the larger font. Still getting used to using the climate control...
  15. Switching from 21 inch to 20 inch wheels

Will likely do the same switch the next time I am due for tires. I've been rading the other threads and here is a good resource: My question is, what are the pros/cons of the MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S compared to the MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S2...
  16. Feel windshield wiper in accelerator pedal?

Same. Can feel a slight tick in the pedal. Think this came up in another post a long time back.
  17. Very low Trade in Offer

I was told it was non-negotiable. I sold my Model 3 to a local dealer for 5k more than Rivian offered.
  18. R1T cover flap on the air compressor

Mine pops open from time to time. I have thought about putting some magnet sticker on it but it hasn't been enough of an annoyance yet to go through with it. I believe there is another thread where this has come up. Maybe there is more info there.
  19. EV use can be more expensive than gas

Depends on circumstances. If relying solely on expensive public chargers with an expensive, inefficient EV it is prob not a financial win. To the other extreme of a more efficient and inexpensive EV charging at home from solar. I charge at home from solar (also a cost to install - but would...
  20. Recommendation needed: bike rack/mount compatible with Rivian crossbars

I have, and like, the Yakima front loader. It also fits on a Subaru outback (as well as many other racks).
