No. I think that it is a mistake to launch without offering a configuration in the color you would choose. I have owned 2 R1S Quads (including my present Gen 2). I thought Rivian was smart to offer Storm Blue as an alternative to Launch Green when they opened configuration for the Gen 2 Quad...

Just picked up my 2026 R1S Quad yesterday with full clear XPEL treatment. It really looks great. Based on my experience with my 2023 R1S factory applied front only treatment the finish will look new for many years.

I have had my R1S Quad since 6/23 and can report a similar experience. I call it my Swiss Army Knife Vehicle. I am trading it for a new R1S Quad next Friday. Can’t wait to experience the updates. Be Adventirous!

I just received my VIN today for a Custom R1S Quad ordered on 7/11/25. It is configured in Glacier White paint, 20” All-Terrain Dark Wheels. It is currently in transport to Tempe, AZ. I believe I placed my order on the first day Rivian permitted non Launch configurations

I’m purchasing more Rivian stock while I enjoy my 2023 Quad Motor. Hopefully the appreciation in Rivian’s stock value by 2026 will cover the cost of the Quad-Motor Ascend!?

My R1S replaced a Tesla Model 3 and a 3/4 Ton Suburban with an 8.1 Liter V8. The Rivian covers the strong characteristics of both. I can’t wait to test the R2S.!

Who installed the sliders?

Does anyone have a recommendation of an installer for RMaxx Running Boards with Rock Slider Armor in Phoenix? These are currently backordered on EV Sportline.

Received R1S on 6/30. White, Adventure, Quad Motor, black interior, 20” black wheels. Ordered 9/21.Great truck so far!
