IOS here. But I just bought a new house and I am doing all the google home compatible devices for home automation. Being able to open the gate, garage and front door and turn on outside lights from the R1S seems likely.
It’s 100% this. It’s letters right next to each other and words right next to each other that get swapped. For me at least. Trouble comes when the imagined word is also a word.
my belief, with the infotainment, is that they haven’t finalized what services they will add(Spotify etc.) seems like they would have to have these services make apps for their software. Maybe incurring a fee that they would rather put off until they start delivering to customers?
Locking up hardware capabilities, of a car you own, through software and then charging to unlock. I don’t think they will have much legal recourse but you might run into regulatory issues for safety reasons. Hacking access to cloud dependent vehicle systems would be different as you pointed out.
