Thanks for your suggestion. I tried that but still having the issue that none of the favorites and some of the contacts fail to sync.
Deleting the phone key option is available through the phone app under security and access.
Sorry to hear that. I too have the same issue with my Android 13 phone (Zflip 5) after the last software update. It was working fine before.
Only some contacts sync and favorites never do any more.
I have reset the infotainment and hard reset the R1T, unpaired/paired the phone multiple times...
I love the garage door update but I have noticed 2 additional problems after this update.
Has anybody else had any of these issues?
1. my contacts won't sync correctly (no favorites, not all contacts, etc.) even after unpairing and repairing my Bluetooth connection; and
2. I noticed the auto...
Thanks for the link, I just ordered some to seal the front door in my house.
Please report back how it works for your truck. I am either one of the lucky ones with no wind noise in my R1T or I am already hard of hearing and just don't know it :D
I am sorry I haven't gotten back to moving the fuse yet. Yes, I tapped into an always-on fuse and plan to move it to F25 TPMS mini fuse 5Amp (or F62 RTM or F63 RearView Mirror). See, attached pictures for locations.
I plan to use whichever gives me the best access.
And, yes the fuses used on...
As others already mentioned, I got the same 148cm bag suggested by @Bf3 on his website (but in the cheapest color :D).

It's not super thick material but should last for the purpose.
Yet another @Bf3 style tonneau.
I decided to put together my own panels but rely on Bf3 for the beautifully CNC machined sliders (https://interrobang.store/products/uhmw-slide-pieces-for-diy-tonneau) that made the build much easier. The sliders fit nice and tight with no need for glue.
I used...
I tried pulling off the cover off the mirror base using a plastic pry bar with as much force as I was comfortable. It wouldn't budge probably because Rivian's application of glue seems to be very generous and not necessarily uniform :D
Thanks to those that posted their issues with the...
Thank you!!! Great info.
Regarding the rubber weatherstripping at the cab, if you used this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B4S1C6NT/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_5?smid=A3FOSOQ6FBSYGB&psc=1, can't you just bend the metal teeth a bit? I have done that when installing the same type of strip on...
Looks fantastic!
I am thinking of tackling this project now that I know the Rivian manual cover is going to cost me $1,800 (my guide told me on Friday that there is only one price). I very much like the serviceability and plan to get a spare panel as you suggested.
A couple of questions...
It seems like I have been a space cadet, but I just noticed (after 4 months of ownership) that my passenger seat has no wood insert on the back.
Am I special or does anybody else have the same setup on their R1?
My R1T is a 12/22 built.
I agree. I see 1-4 Rivians every day, more than any other EVs except for Teslas.
Here is a recent report that indicates Rivian is the best selling EV in Colorado now outside of Tesla.

I agree 100%.
I just rented a Kia EV6 from Hertz yesterday and am assuming the ionic 5 has the same seats.
While it's a nice EV overall, I would never buy one because of its front seats. Compared to the R1T, the seats are made of much harder cushion material, don't provide much side to side...
Our Volvo XC40 Recharge could sit for weeks without much charge loss, but it doesn't have the gear guard video drain or much software updating to check on (because the software is not anywhere as good or capable as Rivian - courtesy of Google).
Interestingly, I noticed a bit of shake in my steering wheel once I hit 2k miles with my 20" wheels. It only occurs above 60-65 mph and it is only visible if I take my hands off the steering wheel (and never felt).
First, I checked the wheel nuts and they were 135-138 ft-lbs, so a bit of...
Same here but my phone is asking me to setup the phone key again.
I did try multiple times earlier this morning to get into the app, so that may have something to do with it.
Having used crossbars for years in Colorado, I use a bungee cord and wrap it around the front bar. This kills about 80% of the noise (yes 80% is totally scientific ;)).
Another more expensive option I have used is to install a fairing on the front crossbar.
A third option is to leave a cargo...
