That was my preference as well. I can’t imagine the 5 seat option wouldn’t still be available. Hopefully the final price!

No mention of the electrochromatic option with today’s news, only the glass panoramic roof. I wonder if this means we will never see it.

Yeah, pretty sure I thought the electrochromatic roof was what they were showing on the website but it looks like standard panoramic glass.

It is disappointing, but if I can wait until August, I can wait until January.

Yeah, additionally they seem to ‘tow charge’ the Rivians quite a bit. Seems weird given the prebuilt charging network.

I agree with your responses in that Rivian has never officially confirmed $69k for the mid range R1T. I have no idea what the final pricing structure will be, but they imply the lowest end model well be ‘well-equipped’ which essentially means even the lowest model will have a lot of features...

I’ve always felt like that Rivian was under promising and hopefully will be over delivering. I feel like that’s why the configurator hasn’t been released yet—too many fluctuations on pricing/material availability to make it accurate. I’m hoping we’ll all be pleasantly surprised.

I’m totally up for a factory tour and drive home to Salt Lake in my new R1S. I would also consider pick-up in California and driving home from there, but I could make a few stops to see friends in Colorado along the way from IL. Count me in.
