That was mentioned somewhere elseāas you configure, you get an update on delivery time. I think this came from a chat with a service rep. I hope thatās accurate.
It seems like no matter what you configure, unless you get the Launch Edition, no deliveries until January 2022.
I guess we will...
I see this posted here and another thread but I canāt find it specifically on the website, just the āAdventureā and āExploreā packages that wonāt deliver until 2022.
Not doubting, just wanting to see the link.
Clickbait website picked up the story from here. So thatās something.

I agree with your responses in that Rivian has never officially confirmed $69k for the mid range R1T. I have no idea what the final pricing structure will be, but they imply the lowest end model well be āwell-equippedā which essentially means even the lowest model will have a lot of features...
Iāve always felt like that Rivian was under promising and hopefully will be over delivering.
I feel like thatās why the configurator hasnāt been released yetātoo many fluctuations on pricing/material availability to make it accurate. Iām hoping weāll all be pleasantly surprised.
I confess to not watching the presentation, but hereās a link that takes a deep dive into the technology.

Iām totally up for a factory tour and drive home to Salt Lake in my new R1S. I would also consider pick-up in California and driving home from there, but I could make a few stops to see friends in Colorado along the way from IL.
Count me in.
Musk is putting out a little lawsuit propaganda. He gets a lot of free publicity because heās such an easy/interesting quote. At the end of the day, I prefer RJās approach.
