Well, I've come here to answer my own question in case it helps someone else. I created a Rivian account ahead of time. Tuesday afternoon, I opened a chat session with customer service. It took about 40 minutes but they finally got to me. I explained the situation and Rebecca was very pleasant...

I'm in the same boat, waiting for Rivian to transfer ownership. I sent them all my documentation yesterday. Does anyone have experience with how long this process actually takes? I really love the truck. I just have this uneasy feeling about some unknown third party having control over a vehicle...
