This was similar to my experience. I don't remember them canceling and creating a new account, but my request did require escalation to another level like the one you describe. And several months later, they still haven't turned off access to my XM receiver (which I never really use, but...

I transferred mine with no problem. There was a transfer fee (maybe $25; can't remember for sure). I can use XM in the car and am able stream on my phone. There is no monthly fee.

Alexa and Spotify are now working for me as well! Let's hope this is a permanent fix. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

We received our R1S quad motor on December 30, 2023 (we have about 17K miles on it). It has been in the shop for a total of 0 days (we did have the windshield replaced due to a rock crack (not a crack rock), but that was in and out in under one day.

Let us know what they say. I have the same problem. I have filed a ticket but am 4 hours from the service center and don't want to make a trip just for this.

Thankfully our rate in eastern Washington is .08 per kWh off peak, which makes our local driving much cheaper than gas. We do about one or two trips per month that require the use of fast chargers. So overall, I think we end up paying less than we would at the gas pump. Regardless, I didn't by...

I have the same issue with Alexa and Spotify, although Alexa does work with some other voice functions (turning up/down the temperature, for example). I look forward to hearing if they get this fixed. Please keep us updated!

I was able to transfer my lifetime platinum subscription from a radio in the house that I rarely use to my Rivian. The fee was $35. Interestingly, the XM rep said they were having problems transferring subscriptions to Teslas, but Rivians seem to be working fine.
