Look at your passenger door seal and how it is installed. Compare it to the drivers side. I had the same problem on my drivers side it had some areas of the seal that tucked behind and over the door panels where it should not have been. Make it match the passenger side. Also look at the little...
Looks pretty easy. Current brackets have two long bolts on top metal plate that hooks onto basket tubing. Just drill a hole in the center of the metal plate big enough for the t-bolt threads and use the washer and nut that comes with the t-bolt.
These bolts are heavy duty and fit into the slots on the crossbars. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Yakima/Y8880184.html?srsltid=AfmBOorGMMg70jnJHj5CtLpeem9sGqSKQzEv6KcaaQ3GUeEsxEZURlyz
You can probably skip the clamp bracket and bolt directly to the crossbars.
I’m sure I would have been fine on high with a spotter but I was solo. I have the new Toyo open country rt pro in factory size. The tires are great so far on and off road after a couple hundred miles. I am driving a rental jeep in Kauai and really missing the Rivian. The jeep has so many...
I went to Hollister about a week after you guys shot the video to test out my new tires. A word of caution to make sure to go into highest suspension before approaching the cement stair climb obstacle. There is a rock on the right side just before the obstacle and I hit the little mud flap in...
Forgot to mention that the tire did really well at Hollister Hills. Great traction aired down to 32 psi. I probably should have aired down a little more but had no problems with traction on the rocks and dirt.
I aired up to 57psi (hot after off-roading) and the ride stiffer and felt closer to factory at tires at 48psi. The efficiency was improved as well. Trip A still shows lower efficiency than the factory AT but I had some preconditioning and was also off-roading for a couple of hours.
I am going to test the tires off-road at Hollister hills today. Drive to Hollister was into the wind got 1.7 miles/kwh so far tires at 50 psi cold. Will try 55 psi on the way home.
Tire has only been available for a short time so not sure what tire you are thinking about the original RT?
The new Open Country R/T Pro takes the original rugged terrain tire to the next level, designed to tackle dirt, sand, mud, rocks, and snow with confidence.
