Mine was off with Service mode too. It does not bother me at all. I respect the staff’s privacy and Rivian’s trade secrets to be protected. I do thorough inspection after the service and report to Rivian if I find any damage. Rivian never say “we did not do it” unless they really did not do it...

Honestly, I enjoy driving Rivian so much. And I don’t need FSD. For a long distance trip, we take our van. Basic driver assistance features in my R1 is sufficient.

Sorry for your frustrations….. but I also got shut when I asked for the pre-hike price for the crossbars after finishing the R1 purchase. They said I should have purchased it before completing the whole process is done for pre-hike price to be honored. I asked again but I got shut…. I respect...

Glad to hear you are ok. Whenever I think about a car accident, the only thought goes through my mind is “hope everyone is okay.” I love my R1S as much as you do; at the end, but when everyone is okay, your R1S did what it is designed to do. Hope repair process is not too hectic..

Some of Rivian vehicles come with body panel gaps and paint imperfections too. Not much different than minor damage. Anyway you will find other areas that need SC visits later. So as long as you are pleased with the repair equality, accepting delivery is reasonable and address other issues later...

Nice review… but people choose all different cars for more than 1 million reasons. I am all about utility and performance so Rivian is my vehicle.. ;)

Sorry to hear that it happened to you. All current driver assistance features are not intended to keep your hands off, not even Tesla. Keep your hands on at all times. Please do not fall into the traps of delusional autopilot things.
