I would suggest that you take over registration, ie have rivian send you the MSO & sales receipt. That's what i did so i could keep my plates, i'm in oregon so ymmv.
Check these out also, they look very similar.
I have seen a post here with these on an R1T

Not sure what the snow is like in up state ny, here in the PNW our snow has a very high moisture content, it gets very slick at times, Zamboni slick. The stock 20's suck ass when it gets slick so I put a set of Firestone Winterforce LT's on the existing rims and have been very happy. Check...
The firestones are so much better than the stock AT's, night and day diff. BTW, the local Firestone dealer told me the winterforce LT is the same compound as the blizzak LT only diff is the tread pattern, (he sells both).
In my experience the stock AT20s have been crap on the slick roads around Hood. A couple of days before xmas i was coming back from coaching @ meadows right about snow bunny, where the road pitches up "you could see the sheen on the road", I had to come to a complete stop due to the greatest...
I just Dropped off My R1T for some service work, the loaner has tonneau panels in various states of stuck. Was told no more powered T and probably the long term fix is to replace all powered with the manual when they break. Take it for what its worth.
I'm putting some winterforce LT's on next week, I'll keep you posted. I've been driving in Cascade concrete for the last 40 days or so and finally could no longer stomach how bad the 20" AT's are in our conditions. A little birdie told me the compound is the same as the Bliz's just different...
Lived and learned to drive on frozen White Bear Lake, flat Minny is not the issue, send that big boy down hwy 26 in Oregon and come back with a report.
I totally agree that it's too aggressive at the top, might help if it remapped it to be less aggressive when you release the pedal. Or maybe I have to relearn how to drive in hardpack with this truck. We have a Tesla MY w/ mich ice x snows on and it's not anything like this scary, BTW you can't...
It’s the REGEN!
I did my version of the "Snow Tire" vs "Snow Mode" test last weekend.
Location HWY 35 MT Hood. Conditions hardpack "Cascade Concrete" with a little black ice thrown in for fun.
Trucks, 2022 R1T w 20" AT's & 2017 FFT Range Rover w/19" scorpion dedicated snows, BTW per Tire...
I used Sand mode this past weekend on Mt Hood, conditions varied from dry pavement to snow/ice packed. The lower regen is a plus however a true snow mode would be preferred. Not sure what Rivian is waiting for.
