My solution is, I had a spare Tesla EVSE and threw that into my Rivian. Beside the Tesla unit, I have the Tesla adaptor pack. Has most of the outlets I will ever need.
I have a J-1772 48amp rated extension cord.
Then I have a regular heavy duty 110-120v extension cord.
And obviously, but...
can’t wait for more control over auto. Our rain has so many different degrees of downpour, that the current itineraries has no idea what to do. That being said, I’ve never had a car where I’ve been happy with auto wipers in the Vancouver area.
Really sorry to correct you here, but Tesla has been running open in Europe for the last 2 years and has lots of experience now. They have proven to be reliable.
and in North America, they have been running “open” on several chargers in a few locations, and are proving to be reliable.
