I love the truck but these windows are unbelievable.
I've been driving for 30 years. I've never had to recalibrate a window until this truck.
Now in the last year I've had the passenger window require me to recalibrate it multiple times, and once required a service visit for some other level...
If you have phone as a key set up for both your Rivian and your tesla, how does it perform? Mine has been pretty bad for both cars since my phone updated to Android 13. I regularly have to toggle Bluetooth or reboot the phone to get it to connect.
My Rivian has been in the shop for a week and...
I used the support chat and they were baffled as to why I didn't get the emails. They removed me from the email and SMS list and readded.
I suspect it won't make a difference but we'll see. I don't get recall notices either, but I get things like the rally day.
But more time than my 2018 Honda which just works 100% of the time. I didn't expect to take a step backwards with my shiny new truck.
Same. It's obnoxiously large.
And Virginia is perfectly happy to let one driver sign for both with Power of Attorney. They have their own form right on the DMV web site.
Also we each have our own app login. They have my email.
Considering the vehicle has two co-owners (and they insisted I drive 3.5 hours to be there at pickup since my name is on the title) they're going to need to figure out away to send me my own emails.
I will wait until they get past today's unpleasantness to bring it up with them, however.
My spouse and I both have issues on Pixel 5s.
I find that toggling bluetooth off and on usually fixes it and if not then rebooting the phone always fixes it.
We recently came across the recommendation to enable the "Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload" setting (must enable developer mode...
Anyone know how to subscribe to these update emails? They only went to my spouse so I, the one driving the truck who couldn't get into it, had no idea there was an issue.
(I had my keycard so it was NBD.)
I've had issues with PAAK since my Pixel 5 updated to Android 13. I have the same issues in my Tesla so the issue appears to be with how A13 handles bluetooth.
For those of you for whom PAAK works reliably what version of Android are you running?
It's so frustrating because it was rock solid...
I would hope that, like Tesla, it would capture video from all the cameras.
My Tesla was rear-ended and I was able to read the license plate off the video.
The camera wouldn't catch more than the witness but it would be an unimpeachable witness, no he said/she said.
Huh. Good to know. I guess I'm better off doing it my way.
Still not what I'm looking for. That means that 98% of the time I have to press the button as opposed to pressing a button the 2% of the time I want it.
It doesn't happen consistently enough on the home charger that I think it's worth the trouble of trialing the others. Mostly I wanted to see if others were experiencing the same issue.
What issues have you seen and where have you seen them? I went looking for info on this update (RF/ROF/reddit) before taking it and didn't see any reports of problems.
Why do they think we want bugs and dry debris smeared around the windshield? I never run the wiper without fluid, either...
Nope.
I'll check that, thanks.
The charger light was slowly blinking the whole time. If the breaker to be reset I don't think closing and opening the Rivian's charge door would have fixed it.
Thanks for the input, all.
