If it is brake clearance, there are quite a few used "TRX" or "Hemi" OEM wheels in 20" or larger made for Ram trucks which then sound like they could fit due to those vehicles' larger calipers.
But I guess we don't know anything about offset at this point. It would take lots of trial and error...
Sadly I haven't had much luck finding any 2363 wheels. I've resorted to ask my buddy in New Jersey to check for me. Lots of junk yards in that area.
Here are a couple of dumb questions:
- Why wouldn't the other Ram 1500 20" wheels fit?
- Wouldn't the assumption be aftermarket options for the...
Thanks! Sadly a lot of people I reach out to never respond.
Regarding your comment about hub centric rings, it seems they ARE necessary. The up/down force of the wheel against the rotor should be taken up by the hub/ring. The lug nuts should only be holding the wheel against the rotor. It...
I've started looking for the Ram 2363 wheels, but surprisingly it is more difficult than I thought.
There are a LOT of Ram 1500 wheels from early model years on FB Marketplace and Craigslist and while they look the same as the 2363, they are something else like 2495.
Does anyone know if the...
I'm the same way. I live in Southern California and it gets pretty hot sometimes.
My family nor I are bothered by the sun shining directly in. It is tinted enough where you can easily stare right up at the sun. I'd say if you're parked outside in the hot sun for an extended period, it is...
There are generally enthusiasts and "regular people".
I'm willing to bet there are far more of the latter. That variance will continue to grow as they ramp up their production. Since Rivian has one of their main headquarters within 10 minutes of me, I see 20+ day. Maybe one will look over...
I have the latest update and I haven't seen anything.
Do you mean it'll just turn on when it *thinks* you're parking? I feel that would get annoying quickly.
If I need to check something, I just hit the camera button and its on instantly.
The vehicle itself has presets for 70%, 80%, and 100%. I was told by at delivery that:
- 70% is "normal battery degradation"
- 80% is "increased battery degradation"
- 100% is "for long trips only, don't use this daily"
Of course you can move the slider to any number you wish.
While you can...
Maybe a dumb question, especially from myself who used to work on a ton of cars (but never having done anything on a larger/higher truck), this seems to have a risk of lateral movement.
If it is up in the air, a small amount of you bumping the truck will topple the entire thing down?
Those SUVs that have a sloped rear (like the X6/M) is a very poor design. It is meant to look sporty, but at the expense of less room in the back, both headroom and trunk/hatch space.
The first photo looks much better and more useful.
I worry about this myself.
I've only used the phone-as-a-key since I've had it, but the carabiner seems very loose. If I'm doing any heavy activity, I can totally see it pulling out and unhooking from whatever belt loop/buckle I have it dangling on. :(
Anecdotal from my side. I received my R1S 1 week ago and I notice anywhere between 1-2 mile loss per day if I don't plug in. So not even 1% really. I'll consider myself lucky.
I live in SoCal so no real big swing in temperature. I also park in a garage.
Wait, really? I just got my R1S so I haven't played with it yet.
But my intention was to use Wifi in the car to connect my son's iPad to play stuff in the backseat. Can I not do that anymore?
I can see that, but after many many years of driving, you just know.
I don't know how long you've had your vehicle, but every new one takes some time getting used to. I had a "normal" ICE car before my Tesla and it took me a few weeks to get used to the driving dynamics and UI.
Then a year...
This is great, thank you! I wasn't aware they had solutions where you could remove sections. And Velcro makes it very easy too.
And apologies, did you have a link to it? I see an Amazon one but it appears to be different.
I may have misspoke. I do have a carseat protector under the child seat. He's also old enough where I don't have to worry about spills. If anything, there are some occasional crumbs but I can deal with that.
But the other seat/middle seat has no protection since I have people sitting there...
I've seen a lot of nice solutions which cover the entire 2nd row but I have a child seat on one side. Do they make half or 3/4 covers for dogs?
Right now I have a moving blanket that I keep in the frunk (under the first layer) but would prefer another solution.
