This will be the first vehicle (since i was a kid at least) I am keeping outside... Does anyone have any experience with car covers or thoughts on using them? Will they scratch the paint if I try to keep clean? Adam

yeah... now i just need to research salt based softener vs the non salt version... Non salt is better for the environment and doesn't need salt constantly replaced, but is the best for not leaving spots.

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but what do you mean by garden sprayer? like distilled water in a spray can type thing?

I was wondering that... I am going to get a ceramic coating done professionally, but was thinking of also getting a spray with ceramic coating in it to apply after washing, kind of like the final part of the wash. (not sure what you would call that type of spray, hopefully you know what I mean...

have also been contemplating a water softener whole house system for years.... maybe now is the time. ;-)

I dont have my R1T yet, but if not answered by time I get it, I will measure.
