Whether you're entitled to DV varies by state, but fornthe value of the DV there's an equation that insurance companies use nationally to determine. It starts out at 10% of the cars value assuming no miles and max damage and then lowers from there
Not close to 20k the absolute most you can hope to get out of a diminished value claim is 10% of the market value of the car. Theres a hard cap. Realistically this is about $6000-7500 in diminished. But the point is moot bc the car will be totaled and you don't get DV on a totaled car
Edit: May have to re-think these hi-flow jump starters, give the battery datasheet recommends a max charging current of 31A.
Like I said, I hooked one of these NOCOs up to a V8 car in place of a battery and driven that car a few miles using the NOCO as the only 12v power source so I have...
Ive literally put my booster into bypass mode and ran a vehicle on just the booster with no battery attached to the vehicle for multiple miles. It will be fine lol
As I said the NOCO has a bypass mode where it would put out voltage regardless of detecting any. This is the solution
I made a reservation in December and within 3 days was invited to test drive. I still don't have a guide or even a configured vehicle. Oddly though I do have a 2022 R1T Launch edition sitting in my driveway ?
Looks sick, would have gone with an ebony stain myself but the aluminum accents/locking rails are legit. I'd be super curious to see what this would look like with Teak or teak and holly strips. Rolls Royce vibe
I have a G63 with 18k miles. I'm on my fourth windshield which is also currently cracked. This crack happened at 20 mph from a small pebble stuck in a trucks tire. My windshields cost $3100 each to replace.. wholesale.
You guys really out here in sub 0 temps not running recirculate? I mean in one mode it's trying to heat 0 degree air 80 degrees which is pretty much impossible, and the other it just needs to heat X degree air 1 degree over and over.
Used cars. Would you be willing to spend 20-100k on a used car sight unseen at an auction across the country and be stuck with whatever problems show up, because most of America doesn't. Without a strong secondary market depreciation will kill everyone
Has anyone pulled off the dash wood trim on the passenger side yet? I've got a significant interior Rattle, and I've isolated it to the piece of wood trim that faces the passenger because when I press on it it disappears.
I don't mind pulling the trim and addressing it myself, I work on a lot...
