Are the cars showing up in the shop configurations from cancelled reservations or is separate line of production? I would think that Rivian is 100% focused on producing and delivering to reservation holders.

To answer your question, i scheduled a call a day after my test drive and during the call she mentioned that she will submit a request for shop access. 2 days later got my access, picked a car and VIN assigned.
If you have a Guide, schedule a call with them to discuss next steps.
(As soon as my guide was assigned, i received an email where i could schedule a call with them)

So, Confirmed my Blue R1S selection in the shop on Apr 14th. Finished all my steps by Apr 19th including finance, trade in and ready with insurance. 3 weeks on and no significant updates. Still getting a "in transit" response from the guide.

I am curious how many guides they have overall. A majority of the steps in the deliveriy/reservations don't seem to require a guide; really need them just to resolve issues. The most important job they do right now is to give access to the shop which can be automated once...

Ok. So I am starting to having second thoughts considering Rivian doest qualify for the EV credit anymore. What are the ramifications of canceling the R1S shop selection and deciding to get back in the queue or canceling altogether?
