No they will eventually start working after driving a while. (May take a couple of drives). I do a 5 tire rotation so maybe it just takes longer for me because of that?

The hood can be opened manually. And then you can manually release the charge cable.

I see a few problems already. Look at your tire pressure it is very low and will result in poor range. Also you speed, hills, wind play a big factor in efficiency.
Your charging history is showing kWh which is how much charge your added to the battery. They rate of charge at is measure in kW.
If it is really hilly avoid conserve. I also avoid if traffic is really heavy (lots of stop and go) or really curvy (lots of corner braking). More concerned with tire wear not the amount of regen.
Was under construction when I went by on 6-26 fences up around most of the chargers and no power on the ones that were not fenced in. Hopefully upgraded and adding more chargers.
Yeah so amazing with the lay flat air mattress in it I can sleep on my side. It does not have a banana or taco shape it feels like a regular bed. And the mosquito netting works great.
