The Tesla charger spot in Silverthorne, Colorado is setup nice. Next to Starbucks, restaurants, nice public bathrooms and outlet stores. The only issue is it is tight with too few spots. Every time I have gone by it is full with others waiting in the wings.
On my Model 3 I had Huper Optik 40 put on the roof glass and back hatch. I then kept the Tesla roof sun shade accessory in place. I also thought about putting an additional layer of insulation in between the roof shade and the glass. I personally hate the big roof glass. It lets too much heat...
Yes, I don’t like that the reservation order date is apparently the last factor of consideration with respect to an actual delivery. The bigger disappointment is Rivian’s service center rollout, which makes you think they knew upfront that deliveries were significantly further off than they...
Listing to the Broncos pregame while tailgating with the family. Kids would use it at the lake. Playing softly by the campfire with my wife while drinking wine and margs. Watching a movie on the iPad.
The only thing certain about Rivian deliveries is the largest customer and investor is priority # ONE. I have no expectations that my 1/5/2019 reservation will be delivered this year. Maybe next year.
The delays must really be bad. That is the only conclusion to draw at this point. A hand full of reservation holders are contacted so Rivian can claim what? Why no I formation? The product is released at this point. Incredibly poor company management.
That is refreshing and great training on the part of Lucid management. I have no idea why Rivian is so poor in the information area as well as late in rolling out sales/service locations. Very frustrating actually.
We are glampers mainly airstreams the last 30 years. I would be very interested in the Rivian tent if it will be able utilize the cabin heat and air. I know that is probably over the top but other wise I am leaning towards a 20’ Basecamp.
I asked about my 1/5/19 order reservation and why others with later reservations were getting theirs earlier than me:
"Thanks for reaching out! I hope your day is going well! We appreciate your support and patience as a longtime preorder holder in bringing the R1T and R1S to life. While I don't...
Why have I not received a call that my 1/5/2019 reserved R1T is scheduled for delivery so I can use the first Rivian charger in my neck of the woods on the way to Lake City to hit the Alpine Loop. Come on man!!
On long-distance trips, the required time to charge is essentially the same regardless of the battery pack size. You might stop a couple of times extra along the route but that is a small differential. In playing around with various EV route planners there are a lot of short charge time stops...
Congratulations! I am a bit frustrated with the mysterious selection process that is currently in play by Rivian. I have a 1/5/19 reservation in Denver, CO where Rivian Amazon vans are on the road, but there is no way to know if I will be one of the lucky ones to take delivery of my R1T this...
I added the off-road package back along with the full size 20” spare tire. I am hoping that the R1T will allow lower tire pressures to be run full time without nags.
It was only for P3D+ owners and you had a choice of free lifetime supercharging or $5,000. This was because Elon out of the blue decided to include the $5,000 performance plus option at no charge that some of us just paid for. Tesla did the right thing in offering FLS or the $5,000 refund.
The...
I sincerely hope they are manual and not like my model 3. While I hardly change mine much my wife is changing constantly hers and constantly complaining about going thru the cumbersome touchscreen process to do it.
I personally just hate the big glass roofs. On my Model 3 I had Huper Optik put on all the windows including the roof, rear hatch and front windshield. I then purchased the Tesla roof shade and added a layer of thin insulation on top of it. It makes no sense to have a feature on an EV that...
