I had a good chuckle this morning reading some of the posts when the CT reservation holders had a meltdown about the leaked $98,990 price for the tri-motor version. It’s shouldn’t be this entertaining, but it is.
They most certainly do include the $7,500 in the pricing of any vehicle under the monetary limits. Tesla shows that pricing first, you have to toggle to purchase price to view pricing without the tax credit and potential fuel savings.
This video might as well be a promotional video for Tesla and its new features. It offered little meaningful comparisons to other trucks and zero details about the truck bed. Thankfully Marquees offered these in his review.
Were you trying to watch the event on Yountube? The event was streamed on X. The Tesla Youtube pages were spoofed and the bitcoin giveaway from an AI generated phising scam.
Other than the Beast version they weren't too far off. I think many thought the pricing announced in 2019 was a purchase price, but it was most likely probable pricing (what Tesla is known for). If you go that route the single and dual motor versions are only about $10K.
Sliding is my issue. I don’t use phone cases so I don’t know if they help with that or not. I just use a cord, it’s a faster charge and you can still hold/use it while charging. I only wireless charge when I sleep and won’t pick up a phone for a long time.
I know it's not helpful to your situation, but I've been pleasantly surprised driving the R1T in cooler weather. I expected the worst after reading comments from lots of ev drivers saying they get half the range in the winter. Even in the 20's I've only seen a slight reduction in efficiency (.22...
Not to me. It's a big fail in my book for blocking the rear window when it is closed. Plus, no one knows if its design doesn't have a major flaw not discovered until it makes it into customers' hands.
I am just the opposite. I find the R1T more useful than the suv form. With the frunk, gear tunnel, and under bed storage it has as much or more dry storage than a normal 2 row suv. Plus more with a tonneau cover or a very useable bed when it’s not covered.
