Same low key hail in Seattle. Sometimes we get snow (looks like hail but isn't ice) called grapple. Skiing on it is something very unique when there is more than a few inches of it.
I was looking at those Nitto's as well. Speed rating and not 3 peak keep me away for my application of all...
Exciting to see and thank for sharing your experience. I have an 18in ordered about 5 weeks ago. Asked for an update yester day and today Jon sent me an email they will be packing it up this week for shipping. 18in should be flush with the spoiler.
aren't those also exposed in that way without sliders? Is the plastic just covering them originally and we just can't see them? Would this be the same issue with any slider using the OEM bolts?
But YES would be my answer.
Seem to handle it with ease, driving and range.
As someone else posted about the St. Regis location, hopefully the St. Regis RAN will be up and running by end of Q2. Tesla also has new SC going in and states open by Q2. Be nice if they have the magic dock on those too!
Just bought some this weekend. Lift point clarification help to finalize the decision.
How have others fared with the turn-around time after placing an order?
Anyone else notice after the update that the ACC seems to grab the breaks much harder as it transitions to hold? Manually, it still works great, just using ACC in stop and go is much less smooth as it transitions to hold.
Went to Billings last summer. Not a great charging situation (50KW max at the Audi dealership) in Bozeman so the new EA will help close the gap there. The real issue is no other charging options. We went before all the late summer EA charging issues but if one station is out from Smelterville...
Just to add to the discussion, Looks like the highest point from what I can tell via onX is going to be just over 5400ft. So looks like there will be snow at some point on that trail if snow level stays at 4000.
Which reminds me, I need to get some snow socks to be compliant with WADOT as...
Most likely there was an issue with that 350. As for the 150 giving you more, it all depends on pack voltage and the amount of current being provided by the unit. For our Rivian's that would probably be max (187) from a 150. @OutofSpecKyle has some in-depth videos about how the charging...
Haven't had much rain in sometime, but I had my truck at the SC ("The squeaky suspension/axel sound"), they washed it when done. No noticeable water when opening the door, but when I went to drive away to check the fix for the sound, did a start/stop at low speed and it sounded like a half...
Sounded like a good thread to share Peak Bagging.. Though mine isn't yet a 14er. ;)
Chumstick mountain is part of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. Just a quick campout at the summit. All forest service roads and used off-road Auto aired down to about 32PSI to give a sense of...
Thank you for the write up! Great views!
Having to live vicariously until I can do some practice runs with mine. Curious as to what tool you used to plot your trips. I just got an Garmin InReach for father's Day that can plat trips but still learning it....
As stated they use Yakima cores, so the metal key is just used to remove cores. That way you can order same cores from Yakima and just use the one set of keys for all your Yakima locks
Also, FWIW, I was talking with Service Tech and he mentioned that many early Rivian employees that have had trucks for awhile and been driving daily in just conserve mode found that the front tires showed wear. So it might be a combo, but sounds like front wheel drive for daily driving will...
Found their podcast on the Rivian posted yesterday and they go into some interesting details. Basically said unofficially those logs were probably over the rated payload...
Yep! One thing I learned On My test drive, we had the sound up just below max and when a door opened the sounds automatically decreased in volume and how it sounded (not just because the door was open). I asked the rivian staff and he said it is a feature of the sounds system
