  2. Accident with a deer - Minor damage in front

WE were hit by a deer in July near Klamath Falls on our way to Sunriver, Oregon. It was more a blunt hit than yours with more damage. Does your A/Cwork? Ours was damaged and my understanding is the A/C also is part of the system that cools the battery. Everting worked fine (it is a tank) even...

  5. So at what mileage did everyone ditch these 20" inch Pirellis?

That sounds valid but again after asking my wife without mentioning this forum discussion,, she replied that there is no excessive noise. Trust me as she has been fortunate to have driven many luxury cars and would be in a great position to whine about the noise. ))) No pax has ever mentioned...
  6. So at what mileage did everyone ditch these 20" inch Pirellis?

If one drives at 82 mph instead of 65mph, the range will be eaten up for sure. The drag increases as you go faster requiring more battery drain, right?

  15. Kinda Alaska road trip

Just fyi for future potential Alaska Highway trips in an EV. We drove the Alcan Highway in 2023 so a few years ago but in a huge ICE RV. We made note of the charging stations on the single lane iconic highway and there were very few. Jasper Natl Park had some Tesla chargers but did not see any...
  16. Update: S.O.S. Need technical help with battery temp.

My pics from the above listed deer incident. Probably hit the deer at a net 50 mph after severe braking from 65mph. Again, the temp sensor must be in the right front area as the A/C went out right away and the battery temp was hot and wonky after the incident. JB
