I’m Launch Edition owner with a 3k VIN and I haven’t had any major issues. Minor issues can be remedied at yearly checkups like any vehicle.

I've been on another Rivian forum since late '21 which is always cordial and no shorters blabbing. They discuss issues they're having but it seems more polite. That said there are significantly more ppl on here with a greater variety of topics. But a bit noisy with negativity.

Thanks for those recommending blocking ppl on here. There are a bunch of bad nuts even on this post who need to have their mouths washed out with soap for sure.

Ok after reading these responses I'm a million percent convinced that the majority of negative comments on here are by people shorting Rivian stock. There is no way a prospective buying gets on here and bashes Rivian, what a joke. I hope that the moderators can do a better job on here of...

Sounds like a shorter to me... doesn't own a Rivian but is regularly on the Rivian forum as an "investor".

It already has. I feel much better.

But don’t ppl have a therapist they could whine to instead of sounding like complete snowflakes on here, since whining on here isn’t going to remediate their issues? They could always buy a Honda or something since buying a startup vehicle has inherent risks.

Every vehicle I’ve owned has issues and service has often been terrible with many including Range Tune Range Rover and Mercedes. I didn’t go on forums and whine about them, I dealt directly with the companies to get the issues actually resolved.

That’s what I figured. Why don’t the moderators screen them out as it affects future sales and Rivians reputation.

I’ve owned my Launch Edition since early 2022 and am new to this forum and surprised at all of the negative comments about Rivians on here. It seems posters would be better served calling Rivian service instead of whining on here about their technical issues.

"Playing" the stock? No, I'm investing in a company I believe in. People "playing" the stock are just gamblers who will lose their shirts in the end.

So I write a post asking about the stock price today and a bunch of ppl respond about how Rivians suck so much. My suspicion is that there are a lot of shorters on here bashing the company to manipulate the stock price, which is sad. I've owned my truck since the first few months it was launched...
