I plan to use my hitch mounted Thule as I have it already and it works great… That said, I may give the 1UP over the bed a go. I ride an XL Bronson 27.5 and it tends to need the full tray length on the Thule, but if it can fit up there it saves me the time as Im usually not driving far for rides.
My Tesla loses about the same amount when I have sentry mode enabled. Between battery conditioning and that this sounds about right. It’s also why I don’t use sentry mode!
Having a Tesla and having driven the R1T I can say it works great for me. It took a day to to get used to the Tesla and my wife goes between both our vehicle types with no issue. OPD is easier I think for people that don’t use the throttle in such a binary fashion or have driven a manual. I find...
while I’m at best in the oct-Dec window… I’m in Portugal next week. I should probably keep my eye out for a guide email once I’m out of country! ?
Also. It’s a tent. I have never heard of anyone extolling there virtues of a tent warranty… I’m coming up on 5 years with my frontrunner RTT and it’s still in like new condition and I kept it mounted on my truck for 2 of those 5 years. Maybe not the smartest idea , but the point is it’s fine...
its been solid in some good winds and I’ve been in the rain a few times with it. It did great! After rain though you want it to dry out before leaving it packed away, but hasn’t been a problem for me. But that’s the same for all of em really.
Late to posting but here’s a couple pics from my mobile drive a few weeks ago… may still change to GW since seeing it in person. My Model 3 is also white though, so I’m feeling like I need to get something else. decisions, decisions!
This 1000%
We were messing with our config that day exploring the maxpack and explore package side of things when our config was pulled. Been R1T adventure before and after that day, but still sitting with 2H 2023 date.
It’s like getting teased! My wife and kids saw an LG R1T in our rural part of Los Angeles yesterday and called me excitedly about it! This after they’ve identified that one of our neighbors has a GW R1T as they see that one everyday now coming out of our neighborhood the past couple weeks. I...
Personally. I think they lost more orders during the price change than we guessed at. During the earnings call they said they had only recovered half of those cancels. Makes me wonder how many places up in line those of us still here or that reinstated our orders are? In theory they could have...
I got really lucky. I picked up an M3SR+ 6 months ago for under $40k. That same model today is $7k more. Was even thinking about putting an order in on a MYLR last week, but now with the new prices Ill just wait for my R1T.
I’m defintely curious where I land in the estimated deliveries. The day Rivian pulled my configuration I was playing with R1S, explore, max pack… though that was literally the day they pulled the info. Before that I was R1T Adventure, large pack, LA Silver, offroad and BM interior and the day...
My Tesla 3 has the LFP battery and its only 10 miles of range difference from the NCA battery option. The weight is negligible since EVs weigh so much and I charge to 100% every time I plug it in with no penalty. As far as range is concerned, that charging to 100% actually gets me better range...
I realize its preaching to the choir, but we at least should be provided an update on our delivery dates. Based on this evenings CS conversation I had, it sounds like its still on that feature being implemented in our account before we get a date again… and he said that feature will likely be...
I have an LFP Tesla and its awesome for the reasons you pointed out. The weight difference is negligible with the weight of an EV, but I charge to 100% every time
Im stuck with the hitch rack myself… my Bronson is an XL and a 27.5. Not keen to throw it over the tailgate, but also not interested in disassembling it to put it under the tonneau. I have the hitch mounted Thule which like many folds out of the way, but it does add about 18” more to truck...
