The whole conversation about tire wear seems silly....
Are you using economy mode? Do you take off and feel any pull from the vehicle? Are you rotating tires regularly?
Economy mode only uses front tires, the tires will take a beating if you are even slightly heavy on take off, roll the window...
How about not taking pictures while driving, Rivian has never claimed to have or a promise of self driving ( unlike Tesla with their bull shit of "its 1 or 2 years away in 2019 when I bought my model X and foolishly gave him 6k...)
How's it going, yup still in beta.
Throw down an extra 6 or...
All the people that have replied with, don't miss it, that's great. Not having the option of being able to purchase it is ridiculous.
Every other manufacturer gives you the option, it's my biggest complaint about owning this vehicle. I've had it since June 2022 and have over 40k miles on it. I...
The issue ( I do too...) is when I'm going off road and ther is no internet.
You know, what these vehicles are marketed for...
Having it native and use a satellite antenna without the mess of an aftermarket radio
I recently asked if this company had anything compatible with rivian for Sirius and this is the email I got back.
Anyone in Denver willing to be the test vehicle? ( Id absolutely do it if I weren't in Southern California )
Hello and thank you for reaching out! Like any other new vehicle, we...
I wouldn't spend the money on the solar or batteries.
I have both and like my battery but the price per kwh through my power company ( live in Southern California, 2nd highest in the country to Hawaii) isn't paying off much.
I have a 20kwh battery and a 7.5 solar array. I figure it will pay...
Just curious, the AC loud.
Is the vehicle hot, I assume so, you are in Texas.
Does it quiet down when the cab cools off?
Mine screams because it's a variable speed and runs full out to cool the truck down but while the Truck is cool, it's hard to hear the compressor.
It's always a question that I hear, " How much does it cost to "fill it"
1. Shouldn't be " filling it " on a regular basis...
2. From 5% to 70% its around 15-20 dollars at home, going to EA for example it's around 30ish plus dollars.
( roughly 210 miles, depending on how you drive, how many...
I had the same issue, I was convinced it was a software update issue.
I just checked the breaker and found wires extremely loose. ( I watched my electrician tighten them up a few months ago...they were very tight )
This is going to be an issue when 48 amps are being pulled through these...
Mine did that for the first time yesterday, I've had the vehicle since June 2022 and it has 32k miles on it.
It's been through a full summer and it's been way hotter than yesterday.
( I assumed it was the heat, but , we'll see )
It eventually just started to work when the vehicle cooled...
If we were a responsible species I'd be disappointed.
( street takeovers for YouTube subscribers) I live in Southern California, it's stupid. Giving these idiots another tool.
( I'm sure those videos would be far more popular than idiots in crappy Subaru cars with loud exhausts)
I bought a 2019 Model X full self driving package. Elon and Tesla assured me that it was going to go live in 9 months to a year. 4 years later..... nothing ( Sold the car, hated to be lied to and would not be sucked into the lies again )
E L O N is an outright lier. He will do what he has to to...
The truck does notify ( by illuminating the break lights) when you pull the foot off the accelerator.
If you've ever looked around, everyone is busy answering social media bull sh*t.
It's a wonder there aren't more accidents.
When I received my R1T in June it had an issue with the latch, it would close but on hot days it would say it was open. I wonder if there's a weak contact point in the latch.
I haven had an issue since they replaced it, works perfectly
I brought mine in for other issues and mentioned I heard water, they told me they recreated it in the shop, they tried to replace the plugs on the frame of the door, still an issue, water came back. I'll post when I know the resolution.
