I traded in my 21 Y in late March for a 24 DM Large pack R1T. Several times a week I was driving 225 miles round trip. Charged the Y to 80% SOC and would get 165-180 miles. Charged at Bus-ees on a regular basis. With the R1T I charge to 80% SOC and make the round trip without charging...

I had Xpel PPF on my Y. I took it once a year to Xpel and they would wash the Y and put a "boost" on the PPF. They wash got rid of the dirt that had collected on the seams of the PPF. The boost seemed to rejuvenate the PPF.

I have been considering leasing a 25 R1S. Rivian is providing significant enhancements to lease a Gen 2 R1S. Had an opportunity to test drive a DM Large Battery Performance Model R1S at the Dallas Space today (6/14/25). The S was very quiet no wind noise, turn radius was impressive...
The 3D Mats for the second row did have the plastic buttons. A couple seemed difficult to snap. That is coming from a 74 year old. Hand strength is not what it use to be.

Are you traveling south on I-35? There are numerous Tesla chargers between Dallas and San Antonio. Beyond San Antonio I do not know. There is a huge Buc-es in Temple.

Just traded in my 21 Model Y last Thursday for a 24 R1T. Enjoying the truck. My wife tells me every time that we are in the truck that she likes the R1T because of the seats and the ride. She did not like the Y suspension and rough ride.
