All,
Thanks to everyone for their comments and insight. Some of the comments were very funny. I got a good laugh. Answers the question that this video created.
All,
Saw Kyle's most recent video on YouTube of the trip that Alyssa, Walter and Kyle made in their 22 R1T Launch Edition from Colorado to North Carolina. The video is one 1:28:00 in length. During this video they had numerous issues with charging because of thermal issues with the battery of...
DCFC,
Test drove two Lucids. Liked the Air Touring better than the Pure. After I test drove the Air Touring I did a test drive in a 22 R1T. I really liked sitting up high. The test drive in the R1T went very well. I had a Tahoe and a Yukon in the past and I liked sitting up high and the...
Mellowyellow,
On your 250 mile round trip what is your beginning and ending SOC? Currently own a Tesla Model Y, but considering buy a R1T. I do a round trip of 225-250 miles 3-5 times per week. I would like to do this round trip without charging.
Thank you for your response.
All,
Did a search and could not find answer to my question. Looking at 23 R1T Adventure with 20" AT tires. Can the 20" AT tire be replaced with a 20" road tire? Do you increase your efficiency/range by switching to 20" road tire from the 20" AT tire?
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
mpshizzle,
Thank you for your response. I would like to find either a 23 or 24 R1T with dual motor and large battery. I would prefer the max battery. I am wondering if the dual motor max battery is a Unicorn?
Sub,
Heat is the big problem in East Texas. During the Summer which is usually mid May to late September the morning temperatures can be in the mid to upper 70's. During that time it will be in the 100's in the afternoon. The battery gets zapped hard. I use the precondition every morning no...
Sub,
Bad information long day. 11 kWh. Version 3 Tesla wall charger is plugged into a 60 amp breaker. Charging at 48amps. Hopefully, that makes more sense.
Sub,
Currently it is every trip. Usually I have to charge in the 4:45-5:30PM time. The Buc-ees is 75 miles from my house and it takes little over 10 minutes to charge from 15-20% to 50%. If I could reduce stopping to charge on my way home by 50% I would be happy and call it a success.
Thank you
