I’ve helped over 250 people so far and they are pretty hostile about buying anything that isn’t either at the factory or headed towards you already. Mainly just due to paperwork complexities.
If it has left their centralized distribution center for Canada (not actually sure where that is) they will not route the car to your local service center. So if it's at a specific service center you need to arrange transport yourself.

Short answer, it depends.
For buying, there shouldn't be a reason you can't. Some guides don't want to deal with the headache, but if you are buying (not leasing) you should be able to. You will be responsible for transportation back home. That means arranging or driving it yourself.
