I'm debating about trading in my R1T, but it all depends on the specs. I really want more range, so if there is a version that gets over 400 miles in all wheel drive, I would consider it. I really wish the front seats could have folded down, that would have been great for car camping. But I love...
Wayssm said in the December reveal that an apple watch app is coming early 2026. I'm assuming it'll be an app with a key inside, so you won't need your keycard, key fob or phone to use the vehicle. But time will tell what it will do.
I was asking the same question. The last update we got was exactly 1 month ago. I wonder if they're just focused on AI and working out all the kinks and will do one big update around Feb/March.
That's really good. I lose around 2-3% a day with gear guard on when I'm at the airport. I expect to lose around 20-25% for a week when I go on vacation. A bit worried about what's going to happen when I go for a month or so. I'll have to find a spot with a charger so I can keep it plugged in.
Don't expect a good deal to upgrade. I was hoping for that from gen1 to gen2.. never happened. They offered like 3k off the purchase price to upgrade. Hopefully they do a better promo this time around, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.
I have an hour 1 reservation as well. But I don't know if I will get it. I love my R1T, but if the R2 comes out with amazing specs and range, I might trade in my T for the R2... but I doubt it.
Ive had my R1T in the shop for a plethora of rattles over the last 18 months. They always initially show a charge when I get the invoice, but they always waive it. I always talk to them over the phone to make sure. Don't want any surprises.
Yeah they really need to add this feature. The driver screen only shows it when it's in park, not while you're driving, especially if you have navigation on.
I have the 17 pro max and gen1 R1T.. it's absolutely awful! I have to stand next to the truck for 10 seconds with the phone unlocked before it'll recognize it. They need to fix this.
That's so good to hear! 178 a tire is insanely good! I ordered mine at America's Tire for like 230 a tire. Next time i'll definitely go your route. Thank you!
And please give an update about your road trip! Would love to hear all about it!
That's great to hear! I put the Michelins on our SUV, but wanted to try something different on my truck. The Nokians are sooo much cheaper, I thought there has to be something wrong with them. But im so happy you're pleased with them!
