I don't price decreases for the R1S.. that vehicle is very much in demand at its current price. I could see the T getting a little bit lower, because of the slower demand.
What I would do is starting 2024, the tax credit becomes a point of purchase rebate. I don't think Rivian qualifies for...
I hope they lower their prices, and make the truck with some upgrades still be under 80k, to get the credit/rebate. I think if they lower the standard R1T to around 65k, it'll be a game-changer. But I don't think that will happen.
It is true. They are losing 33k per vehicle sold. But that's from 130k a year ago. They are improving by making more things in-house. Rivian claims to be profitable by next fall. Which would be incredible if it's done.
I've seen multiple EV pages on YouTube say that the Standard Range Dual Motor is the best option. Because you are able to charge it to 100% daily without damaging the battery. The vehicle will still be the same exterior and interior-wise.. I'm leaning towards getting this for the R1T. We have...
Rivian just needs to do an update to where if you're driving 5mph or slower, the cameras automatically turn on. Obviously, if you don't want this feature, you can turn it off. But this would make life a lot easier.
Has anyone purchased either the T or S and kept their car parked outside instead of the garage let me know how the wear and tear has been for the paint. Any issues you guys have had with parking outside?
Thanks
Having a captain chair option would be great.
But by next summer, they SHOULD have turn-signal cameras, streaming options, and games. When reversing, turn the side mirrors down like Tesla does.
Hey everyone,
Does anyone live in the Sacramento area and know of a place that can install running boards?
Also, any recommendations for what the best running board is?
Maybe a dumb question,
But the VIN is only for the R1S right? There's a different code for the R1T?
Does the VIN reset yearly? Or a different code gets put on to signify the year it was built? My VIN is in the 18000s. Does that mean it's the 18k R1S ever built or the 18k R1S built in 2023...
