got an email today that my delivery is set for Aug 30. LE green R1S with bronze wheels, ordered July 17

just got a call from the local service center, they said it would be shipped to them in about a week. i have a VIN in the app, so i now need to fill out the registration form and get insurance before going to pick it up.

my order updated to this today, too, also launch green with bronze wheels. 👍🏻 btw, i can still add an offer code. does anyone on here have one that i can put in? does the code owner get a bonus, too?

does anyone with a launch green and bronze wheels have a date yet?

i wonder if this is why i still don’t have a VIN for my launch edition yet. 😃 bronze trim would be awesome with the bronze wheels. wish that had been an option.

oh cool, they made a few. maybe we’ll get VINs soon. today is 3 weeks since i put down a deposit. at the time, the site said 3-6 weeks.

i agree, we don’t know. that’s why i said it seems good, not that it is good, and added the shrug. you stated you don’t think there is demand, i suggested there’s at least some, but none of us regular folk know.

the blue launch ed sold out inside a month. that seems good to me. 🤷‍♂️

I ordered one on the 17th, and haven’t heard anything either. there are a few others on here who ordered the same week as us, and are also still waiting. Seems to be the norm. hopefully we’ll get VINs soon. you can check/join this thread to see how people are doing...

I drove a WRX for 20 years. I have an R1S now to haul kiddies around, but would love to have a smaller, zippy car for when i’m on my own.

When I ordered on the 17th, the site said 4-6 weeks. Today, it says 1-2 weeks. On the 17th, they told me a rep would reach out in a day or two, but I haven’t heard boo since I put in the reservation, though. I’m hoping the updated timing on the site means we’ll get some good news soon.
