I will say even though the Gen2 is suppose to be “cheaper” for Rivian to produce the build quality is superior imo to the Gen1. I have a gen2 R1S and I was blown away by the fit and finish and driving dynamics compared to my Gen1 R1T. If the numbers were right I would 100% upgrade to a gen2 R1T...
I wanted these vehicles to be not just okay or maybe not that good but they are both good looking. They are both R1 competitors and they both have a lot of appeal that I can see take away from of Rivian’s potential customers.
So ironically I don’t even remember looking at the window sticker and it was folded up in the car but checked my vehicle about screen and sure enough it’s listed as Large Plus. ? I had no idea about this whole large plus thing…now how about Rivian give me the option to buy the rest of the capacity….

Sooo….long story short…how do you know if you have a Large+ if its not something Rivian advertised or...

Of course the incentive to sell vehicles but I think they are mostly concerned with attracting new customers rather than getting their early adopters to upgrade from Gen 1 which is less likely. I completely understand pursuing the first time Rivian buyers but I wish they offered owners an...
Yeah the depreciation and cost is making me hesitant on pulling the trigger. Not that Rivian has any incentive but I wish there were some sort of loyalty program or offer to entice Gen 1 owners to upgrade. Maybe in the future that would be something they consider but for now its hard to...
Sounds like same issue I have. Unfortunately I think you would have to take it back to Rivian service and I assume they’d reprogram it again. I don’t think there is any way you can actually fix it yourself, at least not that I’ve found. Hopefully by the time next year Rivian will allow customers...
