    A lot of unknowns and I guess Its fun to speculate. If if it boils down to a late LE delivery( Nov-Dec) vs a 1-2 quarter 2022 Max Pack delivery I'm not sure which direction I would go. I'm not sure where Rivian would place me in the Max Pack line at that point. A question for the Guide.

    No doubt you are correct and they know that but personally I think it reflects poorly on the corporate character if they force me to make a less than fully informed decision. I to will let the LE go in favor of a max pack if that is the choice I face. Maybe that is what Rivian wants.

    I'm with you on this one DucRider. If Rivian seriously expects us to drop 80K basically sight unseen they have been drinking too much of there own kool-aid.

    I'm curious on the battery packs relationship to GRVW. The weight of the battery itself or additional towing capacity. I'm assuming the rest of the truck hardware would remain the same. In the chevy world GRVW is mostly a function of tire rating and rear spring in trucks in the 8000-9000 grvw range

    Maybe on the coast but there is a huge market in the flyover country that will buy a more conventional styled Pick-up over the thing I say coming from Tesla. And having options is a good thing

    An article in Electrek dated March 12 2021 is projecting enough of the facility to be completed in May 2021 to begin limited production at least by 3rd quarter 2021. Musk doesn't like being second. The only question is what mix of vehicles they produce there.

    First good luck on the proceeder. I have worked backwards from the statement that the LE will be delivered in 2021. Assuming 7500 LE, 3rd quarter production of 2.5K and 4th quarter at 5K that would work. I'm just not hearing much chatter over there to make me feel good about that time line...

    Agreed but judging by the info on this board I think it is reasonable to assume a minimum of 5K up to 10K.
