Is it me or does it seem like folks are now taking delivery a year after they initially pre-ordered? I know some earlier orders aren’t completed, but many still have constraints on their orders.

When you chat with CS, they tell you that anyone with a 2022 order will be the aforementioned window. However, they also say that updated delivery windows will be out at end of summer for us. I expect our window will be sooner if the R1S continues to be delayed.

I didn’t consider the Canadian orders. Do we know when those will be delivered? I expected they will almost double from last quarter, ~15k, but that’s the optimist in me.

I’m also Jan 2022 order for truck and suv. I’m told 2H 2023 or 1H 2024. However, quick back of envelope calc says we may get sooner. We reserved when preorders hit ~70k. Since half of all orders are trucks then our truck should be in the mid 30k range. Rivian is expected to pump out 25k this...

Does the $80k cap mean that if you go over then no rebate at all?

Yeah, I’ve only seen one, but I know of at least 5 deliveries.

Thanks for sharing your story. I sympathize as I can’t imagine the burnt out feeling you feel compared to the rest of us. From reading, it sounds like the wait will be worth it.

I wish! I expect they double every quarter, which means they may produce ~16k this quarter, which would put them in low 30k produced at end of Q3.

Well that’s interesting! Maybe it will get to New Mexico faster by train, but doubt it. All aboard!

Jan 14, 2022 was my R1T and a few days later for my R1S. I’m guessing it’s because I’m in Albuquerque and no where near an SC. Plus, they need to get the <2021 delivered first.
