It's funny how we all react differently to these issues. I had many of the same when I got my Launch edition. But I loved the truck so much that I could look past most of them. I knew that it was a new company trying to make a great product and that there would be some headaches. I was able...
I read in Discord last week that they hoped to get the Tesla harnesses in this week and start shipping those. Supposedly, the Rivian harness were to follow next week with shipping at that time. But I’ve not seen any additional updates.

I saw your setup on Discord. Impressive. Mind me asking what it is that you do in that. And don't you have any trouble with your line of sight being impaired?
Look at the video. These instructions were released well before the harness was developed for Rivian. In these pictures and instructions, the harness is at the windshield.
Well... not the way I understand it. The OBD-C cable is the one that isn't needed. And it is the 10' USB C cable that connects the Comma unit to the harness. But, I'll let you know once my Comma unit is delivered and I have to install it.

This diagram isn't accurate for Rivian. The harness for Rivian is not 1.5' from the Comma unit. The harness is installed in the passenger footwell, so a 6-7' (so said 10') USB-C extension cable is needed. Also, the harness has been recently redesigned so that it doesn't need to get power from...
I think the 9.5‘ cable listed as included with the device is the OBD cable that goes from the harness to the OBD. You still need the usb extension cable that goes from the comma 3 to the harness.
I never have really trusted the Rivian NAV. It seems to be getting better though. For longer trips, I use ABRP to determine where to charge then enter each charger into the Rivian NAV as a destination. ABRP has been much more accurate at predicting when I would need to charge. Not the most...
Thanks. Are we sure that the Comma 3+ incorporates the Rivian onboard camaras and radars? I was under the impression that it relies only on the camaras on the Comma 3+ unit itself.
