I’d check if you had a CCTV pointed at your camera just then. I’ve opened my frunk inside my garage where it would hit a overhead storage but it stops a little way down after point of contact/restriction. I wonder if the wipers blocked the frunk from being opened early on and it shut itself...

Agreed with everything said in this thread. Seems like very little to be gained. BUT…opportunity to ask a technical question. If the panels are charging a battery pack you lug with you, can it also charge when you’re on the road? The sun is out…
