I agree with you. I would love a longer range R1S, but expected the 135 kw as the max for the 7 seater. Build the vehicles as you said they'd be built and figure out the larger pack later.

I have a camping trailer and utility trailer that both have trailer brakes. I take our camper on a 220 miles trip into the mountains from phoenix. I would prefer to have the controller built in rather than aftermarket.

I have not heard of anything on free charging. We do know that the Rivian Adventure Network will be exclusive to the brand, so maybe they offer an incentive on their charging network. Hopefully we find out more soon.

Can anyone confirm if an integrated trailer brake controller will be included? I can't seem to get an answer from support on this. I see people adding aftermarket controllers to Teslas and I have an aftermarket on my suburban. Would much prefer the integration. Thanks

I want to see if any mileage increase has been accomplished for the 135kwh battery. Also car seats in the 2nd row and 3rd row leg room. I hope they include a trailer brake controller for towing my camping trailer.

Haha. I actually just did that. I asked if it would be out before Thanksgiving. She said maybe, but not 100% sure yet. She said definitely before the end of the year though. So I can always hope!

Although it may not be to your liking, it has a bed, it tows up to 11k lbs and storage area for tools. Sounds like a truck. this may not fit everyone's needs, just like a Tacoma may not be suitable to others lifestyles over an f250. Both are still trucks.

I hope that they have a 30amp 110V outlet on the R1S. That way I can plug my Camping trailer into it and run all of my appliances while boondocking.
