A rivian certified repair shop I talked to about windshield replacement (and claim they have done 3 in Sept) said the windshield itself comes from Rivian with camera equipment etc attached and that that stuff is replaced with the glass, so calibration is likely required always in that case.
I had a rock hit my windshield on the freeway and unfortunately it is beyond repair and will need replacement.
Today the service line quoted me $3800 to replace it at the service center - $2000 for the part + labor.
this sounds like 2x what others on here have paid- any ideas if things have...
Did a similar trip this summer (OC to Denver) and also went well!
Only issues were waiting in line vs. uber drivers in vegas (Caesar's EA) and green river having 1 working charger.
That love's in the photo above was the fastest charge of the entire trip, including RAN!
I have a different pad, but on the R1T the camera is by the license plate and these types of pads do not obstruct it. You will see the wheels of the bike though.
Real world RAN I have never seen full, including these chargers on school breaks.
EA probably opens every 5-10 mins unless one breaks after someone uses it.
I work across the tracks next to the Arclight theater and the back lot fills up with new R1 vehicles every 2 weeks or so, then slowly empties as they get delivered.
Also been charging at ea this week in ca/nv/ut and it has been hot. Got the working stations to charge, but couldn’t really get over 80-100 kW in the sun. Got 150 sustained when one was in the shade, covers would be great.
This is something that is happening with ABRP - I noticed it recently stopped prioritizing RAN, when before it would always include it. End up having to manually plan and route charger to charger on the nav.
Also switched from a chrysler minivan (T&C) to an R1T and have kids age 6&12. They can work their own entertainment, but to solve that I got the 3d printed tablet holders from riviparts and have each kid using their own ipad mounted to the coat hooks on the back of the seats. The built in USB...
Its an easy trip!
Village lodge has tesla chargers, get the adapter. I was able to go from Mammoth all the way to inyokern on the way back without a charge after getting to 100% at the hotel
