I will see what other info I can get. I know a guy that works in rail, and he said there was a Trainload (train car load? Not sure the terminology. Clearly I don't work in rail, LOL) at the auto distribution facility in Henderson that came in on Tuesday and was unloaded. Maybe they had them...
I saw it mentioned in a post a few days ago, but not sure I saw any confirmation. Rivian has started shipping by train. A train car load (at least one, maybe more) arrived in Denver yesterday. To my knowledge, this was the first time a train with Rivians arrived in Denver. So this may be why...
Super excited for my Colorado brethren! I am not the least bit jealous that I am in Denver, ordered 2/17/2019, have told my Guide I will literally take any configuration they have for me, and still have a vehicle ID of "Null". Not the least bit...
But seriously, congrats!
This is exactly it for me. I get why someone in late 2022 could be excited about this statement, but as someone whose window ends in 3 days that would be happy to change to whatever configuration gets me a truck, hearing more in late May doesn't exactly thrill me.
This makes total sense. I get why this would be the case for someone retired. I would think the population of working people buying an $70k+ truck that don't pay more than $7,500 in federal taxes a year is very small though.
What I hear all the time is people thinking they need to owe $7,500...
So I know this isn't a hot take or unique opinion, but I will provide my thoughts nonetheless (you're welcome :CWL:). To me this issue again comes down to how this was handled, not necessarily their need to pivot. Things happen, and we all knew going in there could be challenges with a...
Let's just say I am not going to be holding my breath. At this point, I am hopeful for the end of May. I have my PBA signed, but I don't think it means the same thing that it used to. It seems to be more of a "buy us a little more time" move than having any meaningful significance in terms of...
Same here. I am now 38 months in from pre-ordering, and no guide assigned or communication (outside the blast emails). I would kind of understand if I was in a location that wasn't getting deliveries yet, but they are cranking them out in Denver. I saw one at the Costco right by my house this...
Yeah, based on what I have read, it doesn't seem to be a problem limited to Denver. Maybe some locations are doing better than others in ordering (maybe?), but I have read similar stories from all over. There is just a certain randomness to it all that is very odd, and I believe the source of...
Yeah, I am trying not to stress too much. At this point it is just excitement!
Did you reach out the Rivian at all? Just curious because with your pre-order date just last year, wondering if there is some "key" to getting these things faster.
Hey all, just looking for some Monday affirmation that there are others in the March-April delivery window that haven't heard a peep. Every week that goes by and more deliveries get made, I feel like I am on on island in that I have never been assigned a guide, and never received any...
Yeah, R1T LE. I have changed the configuration around a bit, so maybe that is why. Who knows. They still tell me we are on track when I ask. I am expecting the date will slip a bit at this point, but as long as it happens in the next couple months, I won't be too upset.
