Max Pack should be around 300 pounds heavier. You don’t just extrapolate from the Large pack, because the framing, etc., for the Max Pack is there for the large, it just contains open space. 300# is the weight of a large person. It won’t affect the specs much.
Also, the Max Pack costs $10,000...
If it does 7000 you should be fine. You’re never jacking all the weight of the vehicle. The weight is always distributed to the ground by other wheels or other jack stands.
Klasse is pretty hard to mess up. I used an orbital with a paint correction head for the Klasse polish and a fine polishing head for the Klasse sealant, which I did twice after washing and clay barring. The sealant was a little tough to wipe off for me. Someone said they used a slightly damp...
Do I misunderstand or did you demand your truck be towed back to you when it was part-way through its repair process? If that’s the case I would presume that they stopped everything and towed your truck back to you… hence it would not be cleaned and repairs would not be completed.
This was specifically called out on the Rivian help page that accompanied the Binding Purchase Agreement. They say explicitly that signing the agreement does not lock in your configuration.
Yes they could. For the low low price of $40,000 you too can turn in your 135 pack for a 180 lol.
It’s not trivial to change the pack, but a few forum members (maybe only one?) had a fatal battery problem and had the whole pack replaced. I think they said it took 6-8 hours, as it involved...
I’m so happy you got the good stuff! For the rest of us the Klasse paint sealant product that has been mentioned before on these forums is the bomb. I got the 32 oz. kit (don’t use Amazon) from a detailing products company for about $60. It contains enough product for 8-15 cars.
After three...

Tesla and Volkswagen have already discussed driving battery prices down to around $60 per kwh on the cell level, but that is now also viewed as a viable...
The bill that’s making its journey to Biden does have some 2024 thresholds, but none I can recall that would affect the binding purchase agreement.
The bill says that if you have a BPA before the president signs the bill then your eventual purchase will count as having occurred at the time...
I read somewhere that batteries may be as low as $75/kWh after 2030 — that’s the market’s goal anyhow.
Your current battery (lol) should last, what, 250,000-500,000 miles? That’s going to be a lifetime for some people.
When it stops giving enough punch to satisfy your acceleration needs there...
