Also keep in mind that the liftgate in the back will add another couple inches when opened (see pic) so you may want to plan to back into your garage, which then might affect where you decide to put your charger.
I’ll echo the advisory speed limit deal for permanent “hazards” like winding spots, etc.
I’ll add another one - I’ve noticed that on busy streets where I’m traveling about 40, cars ahead of me will pull into a right turn, and I can clearly see that I barely need to trim any speed to safely...
Ok, I am following you. You said that basically the vehicle should be at neutral toe and camber (or at least ideal toe and camber) at the standard ride height, anything else results in slight changes to both. Changes to toe especially may result in faster tire wear. I think the difference from...
Not bad, that blends in pretty well if you can get the edge real straight.
Someone else posted where they stacked/stuck together several layers of furniture pad adhesive to the underside of the center console door, which works well for me. Just another thought.
Well, ok. I had to google camber - I understand geometry and physics but have very little knowledge of cars and Motorsport. While I can see why altering the suspension height would cause the tire to wear in a different place comparing high to low suspension, I’m still not sure why a higher...
Ok doesn’t seem to be a great deal of interest in this topic yet but I assume it’s because y’all haven’t had your Rs for long enough to make this happen! So here’s what I came up with this morning. Pretty easy to store the sheet in the frunk, I used a couple of those heavy-duty “black jaw” paper...
I volunteered for my daughter’s daycare Frunk or Treat in a couple weeks. I have an idea for my glacier white R1S to dress up as a ghost. But I’m sure some of you R1 veterans have some really good designs from last year to show off, too, so let’s see em! (I searched for “frunk or treat” and only...
Ok, thanks for this detail. But if all four motors can be moving at different speeds, (for quad motor anyway) can’t they just turn the front motors off? Forgive me if that’s not what happens during conserve mode.
-Someone said this before, but conserve mode should shift from FWD to RWD periodically for equal tire wear.
-Give me more energy consumption data! If you can, tell me how much power I’m using, and have used, to power A/C and other components, not just mi/kwh over an arbitrary timeframe. Also...
Also, add an option to toggle on/off or adjust the sensitivity of the front passenger occupancy sensor. My wife is 115lb and if she leans over AT ALL off of the very center of the seat, the airbag sensor warning says it won’t deploy if we are in an accident.
-Prevent the Camp Speaker from connecting to anything via Bluetooth when it is docked!
-Option to auto-switch to camera displays when parking. (Currently only occurs in reverse, it needs to also happen in drive as well)
-Show both overhead camera display and proximity alerts on the same display...
I’ve had my R1S for less than a week and we already have used pet mode to let the toddler stay asleep in the garage at the end of a trip XD
(With a baby monitor on in the car, of course. And frequent temperature checks to make sure temp sensor is correct.)
