Looking like Rivian is going to eventually take away everything that made it so different and special. It probably makes the most sense for cost savings, but what else will change (Munroed) with the release of the dual motor. I fear the truck in its current “overbuilt“ form won’t be long term.

I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing. I plan on carrying an off-road jack anyway. The only thing is, $800 for a matching forged wheel and tire with most likely tpms is really good deal. I’ll probably double my tire plug supply and chance it until the spare comes in.

I wonder how they intend on dealing with GVWR stickers adding options later.
