Good luck. Mine was even more dramatic but I can’t complain, Rivian did everything to correct their mistake. The result is I have my temp plate (didn’t have EV plates) and I am scheduled for a delivery tomorrow.
I don’t think the integration of the new Apple CarPlay will mean that Rivian can do without their software team. Apple CarPlay is just an UI, everything in the back end still need to be programmed.
Crazy thought but what if Rivian is a candidat for the new fully integrated CarPlay? Also, Lucid just added CarPlay to their cars? Maybe there is hope.
Was scheduled to go to the RMV tomorrow but haven’t received the papers from Rivian yet ?
Do they deliver the truck with temporary plates first in MA?
In probably 4 years I never had an issue. I did encounter some chargers that are broken but those were clearly marked as unavailable on the map and to Tesla’s credit, it was due to car accidents (someone hitting the charger with their car).
With Tesla’s timelines, I am guessing it will be more next year. Never less a good news for everyone because I am not reassured with the reviews and comments I have been seeing about non-Tesla fast charging network.
