Both Rivian and Lucid will not exist in 5 yrs unless they turn around with their “ savior “ vehicles; R2 for Rivian and Gravity for lucid . If Rivian is bleeding money with R1S, what is the chance of Gravity saving Lucid?
After having owned both R1S and model X, R1S has much higher step-in height as more geared toward off-roading. R1S Rides like a truck, a bit too harsh for its price tag. 2 nd row leg room is too tight for a rear facing car seats. Gravity looks much more functional than R1S or model X, and more...
My daughter with 3 kids will love this. The only problem is it lacks FSD caliber ADAS. With kids screaming and fighting, Tesla’s FSD is God sent. At 198 inch, a bit shorter than R1S, about 10 inches shorter than a minivan. I really think minivan sized EVs will be a big hit if priced right.
Another big issue is unacceptably long wait time for a service. Just got a warning saying my motor needs a service. 2 months wait time..?meanwhile I can not tow my boat to a lake, there goes my summer plan. So ridiculous
Yea, my next service appointment for a motor failure is at the end of September. Meanwhile I can’t tow, and only able to drive max speed of 42 mi/ hr. 2 months wait is so ridiculous.
All Your concerns are legit, but for me the deciding factor is lack of Tesla level autonomy option. When you pay this kind of money, I want it as an available option. After driving FSD for 2 months, I will not want it any other way. Otherwise it is a fine vehicle that does everything decently...
Don’t go with your “ gut feeling “ as some suggested. It’s a A legit concern which requires some careful analysis. I would say Rivian would survive until they launch R2 with VW funding. It’s not certain, however, if R2 will save Rivian similar to Model 3/Y did for Tesla. Unlike 5 years ago, the...
CT is already outselling R1T by 3x based on registration data, and will out produce R1T by 5 folds in 2025 ; 125k vs 25 K vehicles. Thankfully the market is not moved by this hate echo chamber called Rivian Forum ?
I agree My R1T’s ride quality is better with the newest updates, but it’s not very noticeable. Still too much disruption comes thru at low speed compared to Lightning or Rams with air suspension.
Projected CT production 2025 is 125,000 vehicles per their announced ramping up schedule. And the demand remains so strong that they decided to milk Foundation series a bit longer.
Rivian has not released their production schedule, but 25,000 R1T will be a reach. That’s 5:1 ratio. So let’s stop...
Good for you. I have held Tesla for 10 yrs+, and NVDA before the pandemic. So let’s celebrate our good fortune, and root for these wonderful transformative companies!
The world is better because of them. Stop the Hate!
while you guys are heaping hates on Elon, I have been busy making money, sold Apple and bought boatloads of Tesla in April. Sold good stocks to get the generational company’s stock. Tesla energy number was shockingly good, its AI driven automated driving, robotics and energy are again poised to...
Looking at Rivian Runners post, it confirms my prediction that Tesla will easily sell out CT production rate of over 120k vehicles per year. It’s an iconic vehicle that combines utility, comfort, driving dynamics and cool factors that no other vehicle can claim. R1T will struggle to sell 20k...
Welcome to the official site of the Temple of Elon Haters where data and figures are ignored, and promote hate! Yet nobody has the testicular fortitude to short Tesla stocks?
