I have “always” selected, but I still need the app open. Perhaps the fact that we own 2 Rivians causes an issue in that the Rivian vehicle doesn’t know which one I entered?
Could be anything… I once reached to hit the wiper spray and hit the exact opposite side which tried to put the truck in Park.. it didn’t, but the sound was similar…. An unhealthy grind sound.
RJ is pretty responsive on X, but reading your post… I am not sure why you are upset… you want a Wallcharger for less than the stated price… it doesn’t take a manager to say no.
I have tried to get the Samsung 870 EVO to work with the Drive Cam and no success.
During the setup steps, I start the process, plug in the hard drive and nothing...
The screen says "First, plug in your device"... it is plugged in... the truck just doesn't recognize that it is plugged in.

Glad you haven’t had the issue I described, but it appears to be a well documented issue.

Sorry to hear about the issues. I have had almost no issues in 18 months of R1T ownership, but i did have a sensor replaced in the driver door as the key card didn’t work after delivery. Mobile tech fixed it in 15 minutes or so…
I have the T and the wife the S… I think the S is much more nimble to drive, but on highways I have gotten the sensation of the backend lifting on curves which the T would never do.
my net… city, S… Highways, T…
Fair list. I love my R1T, but the doors not shutting completely 1/2 the time is frustrating. My wife’s R1S seems to have much more solid doors that close at significantly higher rate.
This alert appeared as I was driving along a Texas highway. I had been using Driver+ and as asphalt would cede to concrete on bridge overpasses, Driver+ would disengage.
After a few of these incidences and corresponding warnings to take control, I got this message.
Has anyone else seen this...
You are going to drive back? Yikes! I have owned my R1T for a year and I love it. I have owned the best from BMW, MB, Porsche, Range Rover etc. Rivian is my favorite beast! But, you need to investigate the charger network before signing up for that drive. I wouldn’t do it. Ship the truck.
Just got a note from Rivian that I can pick up my truck in Houston this Saturday... could this be the first Ocean Coast delivered?
They had informed me in my 8 step process that delivery could be as long as 4-6 weeks... it was 1 week.
Update: I went through the first 6 steps of the 8 step process and today my guide sent me a note that my OC Rivian has been built!
The truck needs to be sent to the service center for some final checks (assuming Austin)... expected delivery 4-6 weeks.
